FRIESIAN KEURINGS The Friesian Keuring, or "Inspection", is literally, the Inspection of Friesian Horses. In Holland, Keurings are held throughout most of the year. Here in the US, our Friesian Horse numbers are much smaller, so the Keurings can be completed in about a 3 week period. Every Fall, here in the US and Canada, teams of Judges, some Dutch, Fries or Belgian, along with 3 other Judges, Americans who have spent the last several years in training, are divided up by Regions, and they travel throughout much of the US and Canada carrying out the Inspections of our Friesian Horses. At these Keurings, there are several different categories that a Friesian can be inspected in.
